Gökhan Gezik
He was born in1976 in Erzincan.
He graduated in 1999 from the
Communications School of Istanbul University.
Following 1999 Marmara earthquake, as a
trainer he participated in the photography
workshops organized by the Solidarity
Volunteers for the children living in the tent
city of Izmit-Bekirpaşa Old Armory.
He served as a photography trainer at places
and institutions including Photography House,
Photography Foundation, Bilfen College and
İstek Acıbadem High School.
He was invited to the Project called “Young
Breaths in the Turkish Photography” organized
jointly by “Wider Angle” photography magazine
and Istanbul Photography Center in 2004,
and he participated in the Project via his
documentary photography Project called White
Russians (SPASSIBO) he initiated in 2002.
With his photographs of this Project he
took part in the exhibitions held in Istanbul
Photography Center, Cemal Resit Rey
Convention Center, Russian National
Photography Center in St. Petersburg and
Moscow Photography House. He currently
takes photos for a publication group based
in Istanbul.

1976 Erzincan doğumlu.
1999 yılında İstanbul Üniversitesi İletişim
Fakültesi’nden mezun oldu. 1999 Marmara
depreminden sonra Dayanışma Gönüllüleri’nin
İzmit-Bekirpaşa Eski Cephanelik Çadır
Kenti’nde çocuklarla yapılan fotoğraf
çalışmalarına eğitmen olarak katıldı.
Istanbul’da, Fotoğrafevi, Fotoğraf Vakfı,
Bilfen Koleji ve İstek Acıbadem Lisesi’nde
fotoğrafçılık eğitmenliği yaptı.
2002 yılında başladığı Beyaz Ruslar(SPASSİBO)
belgesel fotoğraf projesiyle 2004 yılında “Geniş
Açı” fotoğraf dergisi ve “İstanbul Fotoğraf
Merkezi”nin işbirliğiyle düzenlenen “Türk
Fotoğrafında Genç Soluklar”a çağrıldı ve bu
projeyle İstanbul Fotoğraf Merkezi, Cemal
Reşit Rey, St. Petersburg’da Rusya Ulusal
Fotoğraf Merkezi ve Moskova Fotoğraf Evi’nde
sergilere katıldı.
Halen İstanbul’da bir yayın grubunun çıkardığı
dergiler için fotoğraf çekiyor.
