Rosetta Literatura: Literary Platform of
the Globe!
In the last several decades, our world,
societies and individuals have been going
through incredible changes. Accompanied
by transformations in the economic,
social, technological, scientific, cultural
and political fields, lifestyles, tempos,
relationships with others and the very
nature of people and society have
been assuming a new character. Along
with leaps of technical knowledge and
skills and globalization, isolation and
detachment have seemed to step in.
Are human beings drifting apart from
culture, art and literature? Are we starting
to erode the accumulation of millions of
years of their gifts, the depths of which
make us human, and shape our very
perception?
Despite the advancement in science,
communications and information sharing,
the familiarization and interaction between
different cultures’ arts and literatures
has yet to be established. Indeed, the
mechanisms to realize the possibilities
of translation and comparison to allow
literary works to collect in the total
knowledge-experience pool of humanity
have yet to emerge.
Given this backdrop, Rosetta Literatura
embraces the ideal of creating a
common platform for litterateurs and
literature lovers from all continents to
