SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT
1.0 SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT
For HVAC Plant :
1.1 In case of a breakdown in the AC system, the Contractor should immediately take up
the rectification work and re-arrange/replace the damaged items so as to make the
system ready within the shortest possible time and not exceeding a maximum period
of 8 hours, where no major spares is required. Any breakdown/servicing on the
compressors shall be done with the supervision of the authorized service agency of
the compressors. Necessary reports to be submitted for this.
Any problems in the Ductable ACs shall be attended without any time delay
whenever the complaint is lodged. For the purpose the HVAC plant is to be
manned 24 hours (night hours during Sundays/holidays). Arrangement to be
made for attending breakdowns at the earliest and all machines to be in healthy
condition with minimum down time to the extent possible.
1.2 All maintenance check sheets to be submitted for approval of Gail beforehand.
Check sheets and tests required/specified are in general, certain modification may
be necessary for efficient functioning of equipments as per the recommendations of
the equipment manufacturer.
1.3 The contract shall be valid for a period of two years from the date of award of
work, i.e. 24 months and may be extended further on mutual discussion and
agreement. Gail reserves the right to terminate the contract without assigning any
reason during the currency of the contract period by giving 30 days notice to the
Contractor.
1.4 The Contractor has to make arrangement for the safety of the equipments. Owner
shall not be responsible for any misplacement or damage or theft of the
Contractor's equipment or any other articles.
1.5 Contractor has to abide by the security arrangements/regulations of the building in
force or any other regulations enforced from time to time. The Contractor has to
provide proper uniforms and shoes to all its personnel. ALL CONTRACT
PERSONNEL SHALL ATTEND DUTY WITH FULL UNIFORM (cotton) DURING
THE WHOLE DURATION OF THE CONTRACT PERIOD. ANY CONTRACT
PERSONNEL WITHOUT PROPER UNIFORM MAY BE REFUSED ENTRY INSIDE
THE PREMISES AND SHALL BE CONSIDERED ABSENT FROM DUTY. The
