provided the necessity of replacing these equipments is not due to any fault on the
part of the Contractor or his staff.
- Any masonry work/carpentry/welding work related with AC system.
- Minor modifications in air conditioning system.
- Painting of equipments and piping.
- Points related with air duct, grilles water pipes, insulation all type and diffusers.
Window ACs/Split ACs/Water Coolers/Refrigerators/etc :
2.15.9 The Contractor shall provide all connected services and shall be responsible for
maintenance of the Windows/Split type ACs, Water Coolers, Refrigerators, etc in
good and perfect condition..
2.15.10 The Contractor shall be required to provide all round services wherever required.
If at any particular point of time, the Contractor is unable to provide the desired
service, GAIL will be at liberty to get the job done through any other agency and
the cost incurred will be appropriately deducted from the Contract fee or his
service bills.
2.15.11 All the spares/consumables used for attending these services would be purchased
from original suppliers and of approved make and would be brought to site in their
original packing.
2.15.12 The Contractor shall provide the services as detailed below:
a) Checking and servicing the compressor units twice in a year or on demand.
b) Attending the unit, when called upon by GAIL on all days irrespective of
Sundays, holidays etc.
c) Repairing the unit or parts thereof, as also overhauling the unit, in Contractor’s
service station, if required as a result of fair wear and tear during the contract
period.
d) Providing a service unit, as and when required during repair/overhauling the unit
in Contractor’s service station, including transportation etc.
e) Providing all spares and materials which are required for the units during the
contract period.
