3.0 <strong>GAIL</strong> is at its liberty to add or delete no <strong>of</strong> items as is given in the SOR. The<br />

total amount shall proportionately increase or decrease according to that. The<br />

quantity <strong>of</strong> items shown in the SOR is only indicative whereas the actual<br />

quantity may be different. Monthly payment to the Contractor shall be adjust<br />

accordingly.<br />

4.0 The execution <strong>of</strong> job may entail working at all the sites and weather conditions and<br />

no extra rate will be considered on this account. The Contractor may have to work<br />

to carry out the <strong>maintenance</strong> job, round the clock as per the job/site requirements<br />

to be decided by the Engineer-In-Charge and the Contractor has to ensure that he<br />

has taken this aspect in to consideration, while quoting the rates. No extra claim<br />

shall be paid on this account.<br />

5.0 It will be the responsibility <strong>of</strong> the Contractor to send his representative to the<br />

respective site <strong>for</strong> complete <strong>maintenance</strong> <strong>of</strong> window and split type ACs. <strong>GAIL</strong> shall<br />

not provide any transportation <strong>for</strong> the above job.<br />

6.0 Leakage <strong>of</strong> refrigerant gas, if any, shall be attended by the Contractor promptly and<br />

if required, gas charging shall be carried out with no time delay after proper testing<br />

as per procedure.<br />

7.0 For all <strong>maintenance</strong> jobs, the time <strong>of</strong> completion shall be decided by the Engineer-<br />

In-Charge, depending upon the nature <strong>of</strong> job. All the jobs shall be carried out on<br />

top priority basis and shall be completed within the time, specified by Engineer-In-<br />

Charge.<br />

8.0 Any transportation job connected with repair/replacement or otherwise, is under<br />

the Contractor’s scope and no separate payment whatsoever, the reason may be,<br />

shall be admissible on this account.<br />

9.0 In case, the Contractor leaves any job incomplete or fails to complete it in<br />

stipulated time or not up to the satisfaction <strong>of</strong> the Engineer-In-Charge, <strong>GAIL</strong><br />

shall have the liberty to get that job done through any other Contractor and<br />

recover the charges paid <strong>for</strong> the said job including <strong>GAIL</strong>’s service charges @<br />

10% from the amount payable to the Contractor.<br />

10.0 <strong>GAIL</strong> shall make 220/415 volts single phase/three phase power supply available at<br />

each point where the equipments are installed as the case may be.<br />

11.0 On expiry <strong>of</strong> the Contract, the Contractor shall handover all the AC units and<br />

associates compressors in perfect running condition and all compressors charged<br />

with gas. Similarly, at the time <strong>of</strong> commencement <strong>of</strong> the job, all units shall be<br />

handed over to the Contractor in perfectly running condition.<br />

12.0 The work shall be carried out within the restricted area and successful Contractor<br />

shall work as per the instructions <strong>of</strong> Engineer-In-Charge. The Contractor shall get<br />
