B : Supplying of materials and other jobs as per SOR. This shall include the cost of
fixing, replacing and integrating of the replaced materials with the existing system
as per scope of work/procedure. No extra payment shall be made on this account.
1.0 This contract covers complete maintenance, monitoring, controlling, service,
modification and any other jobs as per the instruction of Engineer-in-charge to keep
the HVAC system and other cooling equipments in operational condition.
2.2 The air conditioning system installed at GAIL Infohub, Noida shall be serviced and
maintained as per the manufacturer recommendations, guidelines, etc. The detail of
the system installed, schedule of quantities are given in the tender. Certain minor
modification may be necessary for efficient functioning of equipment and system.
The Contractor shall not claim any extra charges for such work.
2.3 The Contractor owns the responsibility of handing over of the complete system to
the successful tenderer after the Contract period is over. Any deficiency or damage
to the equipment found shall be to the Contractor's account.
2.4 The Contractor shall assist the successful tenderer to understand the operation,
service, and day-to-day check and maintenance points as well as about the system in
complete. The Contractor shall depute at least one mechanic, one helper, and one
operator with the successful tenderer for at least 10 days after expiry of previous
Contract. No additional payment will be made for this to previous Contractor. The
Contractor is bound to furnish all the information/detail as and when required by the
GAIL for the period of 2 months after the expiry of the Contract.
2.5 The Contractor shall depute adequate technical staff to maintain, service, routine
checking, monitoring, controlling and testing the equipments and air conditioning
parameters during running of AC plant as and when required.
Besides the Manager/Executive staff/Electrical foreman will visit the site for
regular checking as and when called by the Engineer-in-Charge, the Supervisor shall
arrange for testing, checking, servicing & maintenance works and co-ordinate on
behalf of the Contractor.
2.6 All the mechanical/electrical etc. complaints, routine services, maintenance works
and checks i.e., A-checks, B-checks etc., for the Compressors shall be attended
under the supervision of authorized agency supervisor. The contractor should have
necessary tie-up with the manufacturers for the Compressor Units (Kirlaskar Ltd. &
Voltas Ltd.) in this respect. The contractor shall have to submit necessary
documents for this. However, this shall not absolve the Contractor from his
complete responsibility of the compressors and the system as a whole. Electrical &
Mechanical Engineers from authorized service agency should visit and check the
