functioning and get it signed from the Engineer-in-Charge in each week during the
currency of the contract.
1.22 All the installed equipments shall be regularly checked for any abnormal
sound/vibration will be immediately attended.
1.23 Replacement of wiring inside and outside of the equipments shall be in the scope of
the Contractor.
1.0 For the 8.5TR/11 TR ductable ACs, local cut open/welded and repaired
compressors will not be accepted. The work of replacement of the compressor
should be got done from the original manufacturer or its authorized dealers
only.
2.0 All the overhauling, painting and repair jobs carried out on the AC should be of good
quality and up to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-In-Charge.
1.26 The Contractor shall nominate a person who shall supervise and co-ordinate the jobs
envisaged here, receive instructions from Engineer-In-Charge and ensure
satisfactory performance of services. No extra payment shall be made on this
account as the quoted rates deemed to include the same.
1.27 The Contractor shall make arrangement for all tools & tackles, refrigerant gas,
testing equipments like Haldio Torch, Vacuum Pump, pressure testing equipments,
gas charging equipments etc. required for attending breakdown and scheduled
maintenance of the Windows/Split type AC units, Water Coolers, Refrigerators, etc
as required. The Contractor shall keep/maintain proper tools to carry out the
maintenance jobs to keep all the equipments functional. It shall be the
responsibility of the Contractor to arrange and provide all required
spares/consumables etc. for the subject job. The Contractor shall provide all spares
from the original equipment manufacturers.
In case of failure of Contractor to attend any fault for want of proper tools or
spares, within specified time as mentioned in the said Document, the penalty as per
Clause shall be applicable.
1.0 All tools & tackles required for the job shall be within the scope of the Contractor.
In case, the electric motors and compressor seized/damaged, the Contractor shall
make replacement from the original manufacturer as the case may be.
2.0 The rates mentioned in the schedule of rates shall remain firm for the entire
duration of contract. The rates quoted in schedule of rates are inclusive of all tools,
Contractor’s supervision, transportation, overheads, profits, all consumables/nonconsumables
and the actual work of installation of the items.
