Safety<br />

Basic Policy<br />

The<br />

requires all employees to consider safety as <strong>the</strong> highest priority in<br />

any task <strong>the</strong>y perform. Specific safety rules will be established for each work site. As a<br />

minimum, all employees are required to follow <strong>the</strong> following rules regardless of job.<br />

Use <strong>the</strong> safety equipment provided in performing assigned work.<br />

Follow<br />

Wear <strong>the</strong> prescribed clothing or uniform for <strong>the</strong> job to be done.<br />

Do not operate equipment on which you have not been trained or which you do not<br />

feel confident in operating.<br />

Warn co-workers or anyone who might be in danger of any unsafe conditions or<br />

practices you observe.<br />

Report defective equipment to your supervisor without delay.<br />

Report unsafe conditions that you observe anywhere in <strong>the</strong><br />

whe<strong>the</strong>r <strong>the</strong> condition is your responsibility.<br />

Accident Reporting Procedure<br />

Any of <strong>the</strong> following accidents are required to be reported to ________________________ .<br />

Any accident involving injury to an employee that requires any type of first aid or<br />

that results in any time lost from work, no matter how minor it may seem.<br />

Any accident causing damage to _________________ equipment or property<br />

beyond normal wear and tear.<br />

Any accident involving injury or possible injury to a nonemployee, no matter now<br />

minor and whe<strong>the</strong>r or not <strong>the</strong> nonemployee thinks <strong>the</strong>y have been injured.<br />

Any accident involving damage to private property or vehicles no matter how<br />

minor <strong>the</strong> damage, even if <strong>the</strong> owner of <strong>the</strong> property does not request<br />

reimbursement for <strong>the</strong> damage, even if <strong>the</strong> employee involved in <strong>the</strong> accident is not<br />

at fault or volunteers to pay for <strong>the</strong> damage personally.<br />
