The hotel was constructed in 2010 to support the existing 207-bed hospital. There are
plans to later convert the building complex into a university with a focus on medical
sciences. The facility was designed for out-patients and the people accompanying them.
Facing the sea on one side and the forest on the other, the structure was designed as
a low-height, 41 bedroom building, to be expanded in the future towards the other
side of the triangular meeting and distribution point. Besides bedrooms, the facility also
contains a reception area, cafeteria, meeting halls and rooms, technical service areas
and administrative offices. The project’s pure architecture is reflected in the meticulous
selection of materials, form and colors. Ecological requirements were also considered
in the design process.

ASM Hotel was constructed within the Anadolu Health Center campus opened by the
Anadolu Foundation in 2002, near the Çayırova village of Gebze, Kocaeli. It is a 73-bed
capacity boutique health hotel designed to serve patients and their relatives who have
come from outside the city for healthcare.
The hotel was designed to be completed in two phases, first phase included the threestory
hotel building, with the second phase consisting of a side wing, which includes
a transparent triangular meeting area, 41 high-comfort rooms designed for long-term
stays and meeting rooms as well as technical service and laundry rooms located in the
basement. Providing each room with a pleasant view of the sea and the woods, the
hotel has eight suites designed for long term stays, each consisting of a small living
room, kitchenette and bedroom, in addition to the “apart” and “superior” type rooms
and two rooms specifically designed for use by disabled guests.
Operated by Titanic Resorts and Hotels, Anadolu Comfort Titanic Hotel is a significant
example of the developing boutique health hotel typology. It presents a chance to be
close to the hospital, but in a different atmosphere that offers comfort, peace and a
boost of morale for both patients and their relatives.
