The design of this hotel located in Belek, Antalya, takes a fresh, unique approach to
everything from operations to structural concepts. As part of its dual structure, one
section of the hotel is directed toward the sea and the other section is directed toward
the forest behind the hotel. A restaurant and the other common areas stretch into the
main mass, and present the users with a choice of views of the sea or of the forest.
A concave approach was utilized in order to create a green area in the middle while
also providing a visual continuation of the natural form of the coastal structures. The
hotel has a capacity of 575 rooms and 1,200 beds, with 453 standard rooms, suites, villas
connected to the pool, family rooms and 6 rooms for the physically handicapped.

Cornelia Diamond Golf & Resort Hotel is located in the İleribaşı district of Belek, Antalya,
within the “Eastern Antalya Tourism Development Zone” also known as the “Belek
Tourism Center, one of the two “Tourism Development Zones” identified by the “Decision
of the Council of Ministers on the Fundamentals of Tourism Development” in 1969.
The facility is spread out on a 200,000 m 2 site within a pine forest, and consists of a
group of hotels including the Cornelia Hotels Golf Spa, Cornelia DeLuxe Resort, Cornelia
Diamond, Cornelia Sport Center and Cornelia Grassula Spa. Located in the Belek region,
where hotels tend to focus on golf and sea-sports based activities, the facility is one
of the most extensive tourism complexes in the region, which houses 32 four and five
star hotels and first class holiday resorts as well as five golf clubs. The hotel offers camp
services for football clubs with its fully equipped football facility and has also started to
also cater to congress tourism with recent investments.
Approximately equivalent in size to a medium scale town, the facility is located 45 km
from the city center and aims to respond to the expectations of modern travelers in
this popular region for mass tourism. The complex has been carefully designed with a
rational planning approach on the one hand and an economical approach to financial
calculations on the other. Based on the idea of fulfilling the short-term tourism fantasies
of various user groups, the design approach has a rich architectural repertory that can
offer inclusive as well as intense experiences and incorporates the variations needed to
respond to all possible expectations and preferences. The complex is operated based
on an approach that considers the tourists’ expectation of intense pleasure and allows
for a variety of possible experiences. The facility also presents its guests with an enriched
landscape experience with the accommodation units that branch and spread out
across the site and the water surfaces and recreation spaces between them.
