However compared with other regions, <strong>Kilimanjaro</strong> has relatively<br />

fewer drop out; in 1992 the region had only 2,085 drop outs<br />

while Arusha had 4,032, Kagera 5,749 and Mwanza reported<br />

4,151 drop outs.<br />

4.1.4 Primary School Facilities:<br />

Problems of primary school education in the country are almost<br />

similar, they may just differ in intensity and degree. Like other<br />

regions in the country, <strong>Kilimanjaro</strong> is experiencing shortage of<br />

class-rooms, teacher’s houses, desks, teaching materials as well<br />

as qualified teachers.<br />
