2.4 Productive Sector:
2.4.1 Agriculture:
The region may be divided into three zones. The
Lowlands (1,500m and below); the Highlands (1,500-
3000m); and the Forest (above 3000m). With the
exception of land above 3000m. most of the land can be
used for agricultural activities. Agricultural land on the
other hand can be classified into four main zones: The
Coffee zone which can grow coffee, bananas, maize,
