Paddy ranks fourth with 7 percent of the cultivated land. In Same<br />

and Mwanga cardomon is grown as a spice and cash crop which<br />

has a relatively good market price, Cotton production is now<br />

confine to Same district due to competition with their better priced<br />

crops like paddy and sunflower and poor marketing facilities for<br />

the cotton crop.<br />

2.4.1.9 Food Storage:<br />
