5.1.2 Women Time Schedule:<br />
Like in many other regions in the country, there is heavy workload<br />
placed on women in Kilimanjro region. The heavy workload of<br />
women is reportedly intensified by lack of transport facilities.<br />
Women are said to be carrying heavy load of their produce, grass,<br />
firewood and water on their heads “......... save for those who can<br />
afford and tolerate the overcrowded pick-ups and trucks”.....<br />
Table LXXXXVI below shows typical daily work schedule for<br />
the region’s rural women.<br />
