The VSM10 Voltage Sensing Module can detect the exact line<br />

voltage characteristic and supports fault-free operation of Line<br />

Modules when power supply conditions are unfavorable, e.g.<br />

with severe voltage fluctuations or short-time interruptions.<br />

The phase differential voltage can be measured, either<br />

grounded (in the delivery state with jumper plugged in) or<br />

isolated.<br />

The VSM10 Voltage Sensing Module is integrated in chassis<br />

format Active Interface Modules and in the chassis format Smart<br />

Line Modules. It can be used optionally with all booksize format<br />

Active Line Modules and 16 kW, 36 kW, or 55 kW Smart Line<br />

Modules.<br />

■ Design<br />

The VSM10 Voltage Sensing Module has the following<br />

connections and interfaces:<br />

• 1 connection for direct line voltage detection up to 690 V<br />

• 1 connection for line voltage detection using voltage<br />

transformers, maximum voltage 100 V<br />

• 2 analog inputs (reserved for resonance monitoring in<br />

Active Interface Modules in chassis format)<br />

• 1 temperature sensor input (KTY84-130 or PTC)<br />

• 1 DRIVE-CLiQ socket<br />

• 1 connection for the electronics power supply via the<br />

24 V DC power supply connector<br />

• 1 plug-in jumper for either grounded<br />

(delivery state) or isolated measurement<br />

• 1 PE (protective earth) connection<br />

The VSM10 Voltage Sensing Module can be snapped onto a<br />

TH 35 top-hat rail in accordance with EN 60715 (IEC 60715).<br />

The status of the VSM10 Voltage Sensing Module is indicated by<br />

a two-color LED.<br />
