Of course, it has. Moreover, there have been done and continue being
implemented programs that consists in the installation of photovoltaic systems
kits in rural areas’s houses of determined parts of our territory.
The Euro – Solar program, foresee the installation of hybrid systems: solar –
wind, in order to supply electric energy to communal sites that offer services.
The detail of every implemented project can be obtained from the General
Directorate of Rural Electrification (DGER).
In your opinion, which are the most relevant projects based on renewable
sources
Wind and solar projects, for the magnitude of their installed capacity, as they are
going to be the greatest projects of South America.

Which initiatives have been taken or are being taken by the Government in
order to promote renewable energies
We have been working on the basis of the General Law of Rural Electrificación,
which have allowed opening a window for the income of distributors as managers
of rural electrification projects.
Do you think that in recent times it is given greater importance to the inclusion
of renewable sources in our energy matrix Which do you believe is the reason
for this
Yes, I do, because the legal framework has gotten better in recent times, allowing
compensating the distribution companies that manage projects with renewable
sources, if they wil lose in their operation in any case.
This has taken place to improve the management system of the projects and
giving them continuity through time, as is the distribution company who is in
charge of all the aspects that are related to its operation, maintenance and
administration.
