  Perú- Products I and II   In order to advance in the reduction of GHG emissions from anthropogenic sources and mitigate the climate change in Peru, over the last decade there have been established regulations devoted to promote the incorporation of measures in productive sectors that directly contribute to the mitigation of climate change, which include the renewal of cars, the improvement solid wastes’s management and the development of renewable energy projects. In the different economic sectors there have been encouraging isolated development initiatives that promote directly or indirectly the mitigation of climate change, and which are in different stages of implementation or proposal. For instance in the energy sector, it has been introduced initiatives, including tax incentives, for the promotion of the natural gas use, generation of renewable energy, biofuels production and energy efficiency. However, the primary energy matrix is supplied mainly by oil, even after the execution of the Camisea gas project. Furthermore, even though the electricity generation has a big hydroelectric component and it exists the political intention to promote the development of unconventional renewable energies, the generation of thermal energy from fossil fuels is growing due to the fast increment of the demand on the e incidence of the low water. Besides, there persist policies and tax incentives that favor least clean energies, it is insufficient the coverage of natural gas that would aid the substitution of the most contaminating liquid fuels and there is a low level of environmental conscience and all contributes to the increase of GHG emissions (MINAM, 2009). In the transportation sector, the most important mitigation actions are the normative and tributary efforts for the importation of new vehicles, the construction of segregated corridors of high capacity in Lima, the use of natural gas, the retirement of vehicles based on diesel, the imposition of higher taxes to more contaminating vehicles and the application of technical vehicular inspections and their limitations to pollution, even when among their initial objectives there were not included the reduction of GHG emissions. It is necessary encouraging in the sector a great planning of urban transportation, reinforcing the importing politicy of vehicles with low emissions, increasing the coverage of natural gas, among others. (MINAM, 2009). In the industrial and fishing sectors there have been registered regulation efforts that, in spite of their devotion to the improvement of competitiveness, efficacy and clean production, they could generate GHG reductions. This is the case of the promotion of technological innovation in the manufacturing sector, the technical standards of boilers, and the environmental obligations in fisheries.
