1.3.3 Energy Consumption Per Capita
In 2009, the energy consumption per capita was 20.87 TJ/10 3 inhabitants. Its
evolution during the 2000 – 2009 period have had an irregular growth except for
the 2005 – 2009 period, on which this indicator presents a sustained growth,
following the economic growth trends of the country, as could be appreciated in
Graphic Nº 3(MEM, 2009a).
