1.5.2 Information of the Most Relevant Facilities in the SEIN
Within the electricity generation market of the SEIN there are operating 23
companies, of which 5 are state-owned and the remaining 18 are private. In
addition, there operate 83 self-producers 9 . Electric power is transmitted by three
private corporations and it is distributed by 24 distribution companies.
