<strong>for</strong> <strong>Conduct</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Kozloduy</strong> <strong>NPP</strong><br />
<strong>Stress</strong> <strong>Tests</strong><br />
· Technical solutions to enhance the reliability <strong>of</strong> tunnels and pipelines connecting the<br />
DGS with the spray pools.<br />
Essential factor <strong>for</strong> the accidents management resulting from extreme external influences,<br />
including serious accidents is the availability <strong>of</strong> safety systems battery. There<strong>for</strong>e, an important<br />
measure is to provide capabilities <strong>for</strong> the batteries recharging also from additional and the<br />
emergency DGs.<br />
Specific suggestions <strong>for</strong> improving the robustness <strong>of</strong> <strong>Kozloduy</strong> <strong>NPP</strong> to loss <strong>of</strong> power and<br />
ultimate heat sink are as follows:<br />
· To assess the status, effectiveness and availability <strong>of</strong> emergency systems <strong>for</strong> water<br />
supply from dam "Shishmanov shaft";<br />
· To deliver 2 new mobile DGs and the current one to remain in reserve <strong>for</strong> other<br />
facilities within the <strong>NPP</strong> area;<br />
· To supply power to charge one <strong>of</strong> the batteries <strong>of</strong> safety systems from mobile DG;<br />
