Govinda spoke not a word, and tired and hungry as he<br />

was, he left with <strong>the</strong> two Srivaishnavas imniediateh-, and<br />

reaching Kafiehi—where R3,md,nuja was still sojourning—stood<br />

before him like a dumb statue. The Srivaishnavas told Raminuja<br />

all that had taken place at Tirupati. Eamanuja admired<br />

<strong>the</strong> farsightedness on <strong>the</strong> one hand <strong>of</strong> SriSaila, and on <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r,<br />

<strong>the</strong> Implicit obedience <strong>of</strong> Govinda, whom he gradually won<br />

over, with kind treatment and sage counsels to himself.<br />

Govinda thus became in time reconciled to his new environments.<br />

Ramsinuja now bade adieu to KAnchi and Ptlrna, and duly<br />

taking leave <strong>of</strong> Lord Varada, left <strong>the</strong> place, and in due time<br />

returned to Srtrangam. He was met by all <strong>the</strong> notables,<br />

elders and dignitaries <strong>of</strong> Ra.iiga's Pane, and conducted <strong>the</strong>reto<br />

with joyful ceremony. " Hast thou, beloved, visited My Noi-tli<br />

Abode (Tirupati) ? " thus enquired Lord Ranga <strong>of</strong> Ramilnuja<br />

holy ministry to <strong>the</strong> growing congregation.
