P. Exactly. And that is <strong>the</strong> reason why you should<br />
fully inquire, dive into <strong>the</strong> very depths <strong>of</strong> knowledge as to what<br />
is <strong>the</strong> Highest Truth in <strong>the</strong> Universe; and diving, bring up<br />
<strong>the</strong> Pearl <strong>of</strong> truth from all <strong>the</strong> mud and ooze, (i.e., find out<br />
Nariyana fi-om all <strong>the</strong> tangled skein <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Vedas.)<br />
N. Nayanar thus was dumb-founded. He simply nodded<br />
his head, scanning Purna all <strong>the</strong> while from top to toe, and went<br />
his way with clear signs <strong>of</strong> serious thought<br />

to D&Sarathi and o<strong>the</strong>r disciples, said:— "Look, how our great<br />
Guru YsimnnSi's Holy voice has found its entr'y into Govinda's<br />
heart; and bow Govinda played a burlesque and spoke to our<br />
Srt-saila-Purna <strong>the</strong>reon in sarcastic quibbles. And see how<br />
our Piirna retorted to Govinda in <strong>the</strong> same clever sarcastic<br />
style. Being well versed in Sastric lore, see how Govinda<br />
acknowledged Piirna's significant sarcasms, and allowed himself<br />
to be beaten into silence. What a polemical victory ?<br />
