me." RAm&nnj.i awoke and reported to <strong>the</strong> king that <strong>the</strong> idol<br />

he sought was with <strong>the</strong> Sult^ni. The king's curiosity was<br />

roused at <strong>the</strong> revelations, a foreign SanyS,sin <strong>of</strong> a different<br />

persuasion was making to him; and not only curiosity but respect<br />

and adoration for <strong>the</strong> holy saint. The King took <strong>the</strong> Sanyiisin<br />

Ramftnuja into <strong>the</strong> seraglio, where no o<strong>the</strong>r man dared enter ;<br />

Him, and walked to where Rftm&nuja Stood, in all <strong>the</strong> glory and<br />

ideals <strong>of</strong> taste natural to Aryan imagination. RamS
