Registering an Active Directory
To register an active directory account:
1. From the Manage menu, select Settings. The Settings page is displayed.
2. Click the AD Accounts tab.
3. In the Register AD Account area, click Register AD Account. The Register AD Account
window appears.
4. Enter the information about the active directory account you want to register. For more
information about the fields, see Active Directory Account Properties.
5. Click Ok.
Active Directory Account Properties
The active directory account properties are required to configure an active directory account for
inSync.

Description
The host name of the computer containing the active directory
Port
The port number required to access the active directory
Username
The username required to access the active directory
Password
The password required to access the active directory
Use secure connection
Select it to enable connection to active directory using SSL
