storages that may be used for storing user backups. For information on the various

9. Define the DLP functionalities that will be applied on user's devices. For information

10. Define the inSync Share functionalities that the user's associated with this profile can
use. For information on the various fields that appear on this page, see Share.
4. Click Finish on the last tab of the wizard.
The new profile is created and is displayed under Profiles List on the Manage Profiles page.
Including Files and Folders for Backup
The Laptop Backup Content tab gives you the ability select folders that will be backed up by inSync.
You can also define the files that will be backed up from the selected folders. If you do not select any
folder for backup, you must at least allow users to select files and folders per their requirement, else
inSync will not backup any data from user's personal computers.
As an administrator, you can:
Select folders from the default folder list provided by inSync and define the files that must be
backed up.
Add custom folders and files within those folders that must be backed up.
Including Folders from the Default List
To include folders from the default list of folders provided by inSync:
1. On the Laptop Backup Content tab, under Folders, select the folder that you want to back up.
The available options are Pictures, Desktop, All Drives, Music, Favorites, Office Templates, and
My Documents. When you select a folder, additional fields related to the selected folder are
displayed under the tab.
2. To make it mandatory for inSync to backup this folder, select Mandatory folder. If you do not
select this option, users will be able to remove this folder from being backed up by inSync.
Note: If a user removes any non-mandatory folder from the list, you cannot add it back for backup.
