Some of the properties that you can configure through a profile are as follows:
Storage quota for backup.
Ability of users to add devices.
Default folders and files that are always backed up for users.
Ability of users to add folders for backup.
Backup schedule.
Internet bandwidth used and CPU priority during the backup process.
Backup of mobile devices.
Backup retention duration.
Data loss protection policies for computers and mobile devices.
Ability of the users to use inSync share.
Creating a Profile
inSync comes with a pre-configured profile called Default. You can also create more profiles per your
requirements. There are two ways for creating a profile:
Creating a profile using a wizard.
Creating a profile based on an existing profile.
Creating a Profile Using a Wizard
To create a profile using the profile creation wizard:
1. From the Manage menu, select Profiles. The Manage Profile page is displayed.
2. Click Create New Profile. The Create New Profile wizard appears.
3. Enter the requisite details under each page of the wizard.

2. Define the folders and files from the user's computers that will be backed up on
the Laptop Backup Content page. For information about the fields that appear on
