GOVERNMENT APPROVALS
In view of the approvals listed below our Company can undertake this Issue and its current
business activities. No further material approvals are required from any government authorities
(including the FIPB and/or the RBI) for the Issue or for us to continue our current business
activities.
APPROVALS MATERIAL TO THIS ISSUE
We have received the following material approvals relating to the Issue :
1. Our Board of Directors have approved the Issue and have authorised a committee to deal with
all matters connected to the Issue by way of resolutions passed at the Board of Directors
meetings held on dated October 10, 2003, January 29, 2004 and March 19, 2004 ;
2. Our members have approved the Issue by way of a special resolution passed at an
extraordinary general meeting held on March 31,2004;

Our Company currently has 15 department stores in various cities in India. For these department
stores, pursuant to various laws in force in the States in which our stores are situated, the following
registrations / licenses/ consents / permissions, have been obtained which are material for the
operation of our stores and therefore for our Company's current business activities.
