This is in contrast to crops likegram, thelargest Rabi pulses crop in Pakistan,where production stood at 291 thousand tons,against 496 thousand tons of last year, showingareduction of about 41.3 percent during 2011-12mainlybecause of unfavorable weather conditions.The other crops like bajra, tobacco, jawarandbarley also, witnessed a declinee in production of12.1 percent, 8.7 percent, 2.8 percent and1.4percent, respectively, in 2011-12 as compared tothe corresponding period last year.
