Busway SystemsSentron Bus Plug OverviewOverviewSENTRON Bus Plugs are engineeredwith the installer and end user in mind.The installer will benefit from thenumerous features, such as factoryinstalled circuit breakers, compactfootprint, generous wirebend space, anddual interlocks. The end user willappreciate the visible position indicator,as well as the spring loaded pad lockablelatch which prevents access tounauthorized personel.SENTRON Bus Plugs are designed withan interlock device to prevent the doorfrom being opened when the disconnectis on. This also prevents the disconnectfrom being turned on while the door isopen. The interlock ensures that theprotective device is “OFF” prior toinstallation or removal of the bus plug.Once the bus plug is properly installed,a spring - loaded, padlock latch providesadditional security by preventingunauthorized access to the unit.Alignment and interlock stabs arefeatures of the Sentron Bus Plugsengineered to prevent improperinstallation of the unit. Guide stabsprevent installing the bus plug 180degrees out of rotation. In addition, thestabs provide vertical support for verticalapplications. The bus plug ground stabsare designed to ensure positive contactwith both the integral and optionalinternal busway grounds before the busplug fingers contact the phase andneutral bars. Sentron Bus Plugs alsofeature bolt-on mounting to the buswayhousing for secure attachment.Sentron Bus Plugs can be configured forhorizontal or vertical applications. Thefollowing Bus Plugs can be mounted(side by side) five (5) per busway sidechannel (Total 10 per 10' Section).▪ 30-600 SLVBH Fusible (Horizontal) ▪ 30-200 SLVBR Fusible (Riser) ▪ 30-400 Circuit Breaker Sentron SLVB Fusible Bus Plugs featurea direct drive mechanism.
