CHAPTER - 13REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE (RCC) PIPES :13.1 Applicable code :The laying of RCC pipes and fittings / specials shall comply with all currentlyapplicable statutes, regulations, standards and codes. In particular thefollowing standards, unless otherwise specified herein, shall be referred. In allcases, the latest revision of the standards/codes shall be referred to. Other IS:Codes not specifically mentioned here but pertaining to the use of RCC pipes,fittings & specials shall be part of this Specification.I.S. NumberIS: 458 : 2003Amend. Spigot & socket ended pies are widely use forsewerage & water supply. Dimensions of the spigot and socket for variousclasses of pipes such as NP2,NP3 and NP4 etc. shall be as per details given intables 12 ,13,14,17,18 and 19 of IS: 458/2003.
