The measurement for pipes should be in running metersnearest to a cm. as laid or fixed, from inside of one manhole to the inside of theother manhole.13.13.2 The length shall be taken along with center line of the pipes overall fittings suchas bends, collars, junctions etc which shall not be measured separately.13.13.3 Excavation, refilling, shoring <strong>and</strong> timbering in trenches <strong>and</strong> cement concretingwherever required shall be measured separately under relevant items of work.13.14 Rates:13.14.1 The for providing, laying <strong>and</strong> jointing of RCC pipes shall be inclusive of the costof collars/Rubber rings, jointing material, testing <strong>and</strong> the extra excavationrequire for ordinary bedding of pipes <strong>and</strong> also for collars <strong>and</strong> pipe sockets ifany.13.14.2 Any damage caused to the pipe line during the execution of work or duringcleaning/Testing of the pipe line, contractor shall replace the damaged pipe line<strong>and</strong> retest the same at its own cast.
