These stripes shall be more than 0.2 mm in depth.The material of the stripes shall be of the same type of resin, as used in thebase compound for the pipe.8.3 Dimensions of pipes and ovality of pipe8.3.1 Ovality shall be measured at the manufamaximum outside diameter and minimum out-side diameter measured at thesame cross section of the pipe, at 300mm away from the cut end. For pipes tobe coiled, the ovality shall be measured prior to coiling For coiled pipes,however, re-rounding of pipe shall be carried out prior to the measurement ofovality.8.3.2 Outside diameter, tolerance and ovality of pipes shall be as per table 8.2.Urban Administration & Development Department Page 89
