1.2 Beit Hanounfrom a drone. This was a first missile. The motherran to check on one of the boys and several familymembers also rushed to the scene to see what washappening. Another missile fell a few minutes afterthe first. The patient’s mother and two brothers anda female cousin who had rushed to the scene werekilled by the second missile. The patient held herolder sister’s hand the whole time and the shrapnelfell over both of them. Her sister had internalbleeding and died shortly afterwards. The patientwas conscious the whole time and saw everything.Others killed/injured in same event: 5 membersof the patient’s family were killed. Number ofinjured unknown.Evacuation and care inside Gaza: The patient wasevacuated to Beit Hanoun Hospital and from thereshe was taken by her aunt (the witness) to ShifaHospital in Gaza City. She was injured by shrapnelthat went right through her body. The x-raysdidn’t show anything inside, but there was internalbleeding and she started vomiting blood.Evacuation out of Gaza: The patient was transferredto St Joseph Hospital in East Jerusalem.
