On the day of the incident, thepatient went to work as usual by public transport toShuhada’ Al Aqsa Hospital. Shortly after her arrival,heavy shooting started around the hospital. Fromthe balcony she saw some cars belonging to the ___family 12 , who were carrying a ‘martyr’ [descriptiongiven to anyone killed in attacks by Israel-Ed.] tothe hospital. Two cars were shelled just in frontof the hospital and four people were killed in thisincident. Following this, in a short period of time,the hospital was hit 15 times by tanks. The firstmissile hit the male surgery ward. Staff and visitorsstarted immediately evacuating the patients, as theshooting (sic) continued. Four more people werekilled: two patients and two visitors.
