According to thepatient, the targeting was intentional.Others killed/injured in same event: The driver ofthe motorbike.Evacuation and care inside Gaza: People gatheredaround the place of the incident. The patient wastaken to Kamal Edwan Hospital in a car (a vanfor public transportation), while his friend wasevacuated by ambulance. When the patient arrivedat the hospital the ER team thought he was deadand moved him to the morgue. When his brotherwent to collect his body for burial he realized that hewas alive. He remained in Kamal Edwan Hospital for7 days and was then transferred to Shifa Hospital inGaza City and from there to Amman, Jordan.Evacuation out of Gaza: The patient was in comaafter his injury and cannot remember anythingabout his treatment in the hospitals, the referral,Erez Crossing or his arrival at Medinat Hussein alTibbeya Hospital in Amman.Comments on displacement: None.Comments on rehabilitation: The patient is bitter andresentful about the treatment he has received at thishospital.
