Through the window of the kitchen hesaw the neighbours in the back yard of their home,thought that the situation was now safe and wentout again. When he reached the door of the house, amissile hit the yard, at the entrance. He thinks that hewas targeted on purpose, since there was no one elsearound. He thinks his life was saved by a water tankthat fell upon him, acting as a cushion.Two days later, the house was attacked again,together with his uncle’s house, and both werepartially destroyed.Others killed/injured in same event: Only thepatient was injured, since he was alone in the yard.Evacuation and care inside Gaza: The patient wasevacuated by his family in a private car to NasserHospital, where he had surgery to remove theshrapnel and close his abdominal wounds.
