On their way to the worksite they visited the family of a friend who had beenkilled when his home was bombed (exact locationunclear-Ed.). After visiting the friend’s house, whichhad been badly damaged, they came out and startedwalking to their car. They had walked about 300-400meters when the patient suddenly heard the soundof a missile coming very close. He saw the missile‘flash in his eye’ and then felt nothing. He remainedconscious. When he looked down he saw that thelower part of his R leg was missing and that he wasbleeding heavily.Others killed/injured in same event: One of the patient’sfriends who was with him had both legs amputated andunderwent surgery but died about an hour later.
