4.1 Khan Younissurgical procedures, she was in the ICU for four days.Evacuation out of Gaza: On 31 Jul 2014 the patientwas transferred to Augusta Victoria Hospital in EastJerusalem. She left Khan Younis in an ambulance at09:00, arriving at Erez Crossing at 10:00. They waitedfor two and a half hours before being checked bythe Israeli army. The patient was checked using ahandheld body scanner under her clothes.She was then transferred to an Israeli ambulance inErez Crossing and only after that was transferred toa (Jerusalem) Palestinian ambulance to take her toEast Jerusalem. During her transfer from the Israelito the Palestinian ambulance, Israeli soldiers tried totake a photo of her but the Palestinian ambulancedriver prevented it. In a place near Jerusalem shewas transferred again to a different Palestinianambulance that brought her to Augusta VictoriaHospital. She stayed there for 4 days and the woundin her back was cleaned. She was transferred toMaqassad Hospital on 4 Aug 2014 where her armwas placed in a cast.Comments on displacement: After her release thepatient will go to her parents’ house as her own houseis destroyed, until her husband finds a new place.Comments on rehabilitation: According to her doctorher injury is severe and her treatment will be long, inaddition to a recovery process.
