At policy level, it willprovide executive oversight for the whole reform exercise. It is adecision-making body with a broad mandate to direct, monitor andevaluate the implementation of the programme in keeping withgovernment’s policy objective and development programme. TheSteering Committee will focus on the requirements, resources andstrategy for Public Sector Reform, and be accountable for results.10:1:3 MinistersMinisters will provide leadership and support for the PSR initiatives atthe Ministry level, and retain accountability for the performance of theirministries. The key responsibilities for the Ministers are to:• provide leadership at the ministry level;• set and reform policy as required;• participate as needed on Steering Committee;• review results, encourage and recognise progress;• secure resources;
