Section 21 Miscellaneous Enhancements - FunctionalEmployee Jobs Form (NBAJOBS) EnhancementsThose sites that utilize the actual, or direct charge benefit method, where the FringeCalculation Method on NTRFINI is None, will not utilize this Rule Class control,since benefit encumbrances are never generated under this charging method.All other employee jobs where the encumbrance methods are Value Input, HoursInput, or Annual Salary, will continue to post in the traditional fashion.Encumbrance liquidations will occur on the actual payroll expense, utilizing theSalary Encumbrance Adjustment and Fringe Encumbrance Adjustment RuleClasses established on NTRFINI. These methods will not access the EncumbranceOverride Rule Classes.If recasting has not been enabled on NTRINST, the Encumbrance Overrides will notbe accessed by PHPFEXP.This enhancement completes RPE #34011. Resolved in Human Resources Release6.1.Employee Jobs Form (NBAJOBS) EnhancementsThe following enhancements were made to the Employee Jobs Form (NBAJOBS):• When an adjustment was made to the Job Detail Record on the Employee Jobsform (NBAJBOS), two records were being created on the PERJHIS table. Thechange to the detail record caused one record to be created and theencumbrance recalculation inserted on the Job Base Table (NBRBJOB), causeda second history record insert. The form has been modified and only onerecord is now written to job history. This completes RPE #34101. Resolved inHuman Resources Release 6.1.• The Error or Warning message regarding the job encumbrance valueexceeding the available budget on the Position Budget Form (NBAPBUD) hasbeen suppressed. When the position has a zero budget, the message is notrelevant for positions that are not budgeted. This completes defect #31805 andRPE #34102.
