<strong>Western</strong> <strong>National</strong> Mutual <strong>Insurance</strong> CompanyIOWA HOMEOWNER RULESRule 3 – Policywriting Instructions3.1 Inception TimeThe policy may be issued to take effect at 12:<strong>01</strong> A.M. st<strong>and</strong>ard time on the inception date.3.2 Policy Term3.2.1 AnnualRating information for annual policies is shown in this manual. Policies may not bewritten for terms of less than one year except as specified in the rules shown below.3.2.2 Less Than One YearA policy may be written for a term of less than one year in order to maintain commonanniversary dates with other policies. Refer to Company.3.3 Minimum PremiumAt the option of the company, a minimum annual premium charge can apply to each policy.Refer to the Company for the applicable minimum charge.3.4 EndorsementsInformation called for as entries on endorsements can instead be shown on the declarations ora supplemental schedule.3.5 Additional InterestsA homeowners policy can be endorsed to cover the interests of co-owners, executors,administrators, trustees, or beneficiaries in the insured premises or the interests of otherresidents of the insured premises.3.5.1 Interests In Coverages A & B <strong>and</strong> Premises Liability – Forms 2, 3, 5, <strong>and</strong> 6A policy can be endorsed at no additional premium charge to cover the insurableinterests of others in the covered property <strong>and</strong> their liability arising out of the insuredpremises.Attach Endorsement ML-41 <strong>and</strong> make entries to show the location of the premises, thenames of the additional insureds, <strong>and</strong> the extent of their interests.3.5.2 Residents Of the HouseholdA policy can be endorsed to provide personal property <strong>and</strong> personal liability coverage forresidents of the named insured's household who are not related to the insured <strong>and</strong> whowould not otherwise be covered as an insured under the policy.
