The Rate Pages display rates by territory.B. A rating territory is a geographical area defined interms of U.S. Postal Service (USPS) ZIP codes,as shown on the Territory Definitions Pages.1. Determine the applicable rating territorybased on the ZIP code of the location ofprincipal garaging of the vehicle. If the ZIPcode of the mailing address differs from theZIP code of the location of principal garaging,use the ZIP code of the garaging location toassign the rating territory.2. As ZIP code boundaries are changed by theUSPS, a new ZIP code may be created. Ifthis new ZIP code is not yet listed in theTerritory Definitions, use the ZIP code thatformerly applied to the risk before the ZIPcode boundaries were changed in order todetermine the rating territory for a risk locatedin the new ZIP code.3. Future USPS Zip code changes will be reflectedin ISO’s territory definitions in accordancewith the ISO ZIP Code Territorymaintenance procedures on the file with the<strong>Insurance</strong> Department. Manual pages will beupdated on a regular basis to reflect futureZIP code changes.Rule 18.<strong>Insurance</strong> Score DiscountThe highest insurance score of a Named Insured,spouse, or parent of a single youthful receiving the FamilyDiscount (if a resident of the same household) shalldetermine the <strong>Insurance</strong> Score Discount that applies tothe policy premium. An insurance score shall be reorderedevery year, <strong>and</strong> any change in the discount shallbe applied upon renewal. In the event of a reduction ofthe insurance score upon reordering, tier reassignmentshall be limited to a maximum of two tiers.
