<strong>Western</strong> <strong>National</strong> Mutual <strong>Insurance</strong> CompanyIOWA HOMEOWNER RULESRule 11 – Additional And Secondary Locations11.1 Same State11.1.1 Separate PolicyCoverage for an additional or secondary location in the same state that meets theeligibility requirements set forth in this manual can be provided by issuing a separatepolicy. Personal liability coverage can be deleted from the policy that covers theadditional location if liability coverage for the additional residence premises occupied byan insured is added to the policy that covers the primary location.Use the rating information shown in this manual to determine the premium for theadditional location. If appropriate, apply the credit shown in Rule 11.3 for the deletion ofpersonal liability coverage.On the primary policy, use the rating information shown in Rule 8.5 to make a liabilitycharge for the additional residence premises occupied by an insured.11.2 Other StateCoverage for an additional or secondary location in another state that meets the eligibilityrequirements set forth in this manual can be provided by issuing a separate policy. Thecompany that issues the policy for the additional location must be licensed to write homeownerspolicies in the state where the additional premises is located.Personal liability coverage can be deleted from the policy that covers the additional location ifliability coverage for the additional residence premises occupied by the insured is added to thepolicy that covers the primary location.To determine the premium for the additional location, use the rating information shown in themanual applicable in the state in which the additional premises is located.Use the rating information shown in the manual applicable in the state in which the primaryresidence is located to make a liability charge for the additional residence occupied by aninsured.11.3 Credit For Liability CoverageAs noted in Rules 11.1 <strong>and</strong> 11.2, personal liability coverage can be deleted from a policy thatcovers an additional or secondary location.
