Western National Mutual Insurance CompanyPERSONAL UMBRELLA PROGRAMRule 4 – Premium DeterminationUse the rating information shown in this manual to develop the umbrella liability premium, basedon:• Residence Premises – This includes a one- or two-family home, townhouse, or row house,used mainly for family residential purposes, that is not specifically excluded.• Each Motor Vehicle – This includes each private passenger automobile, truck, motorcycle,motor home, and/or any other registered motor vehicle that is not specifically excluded. Thisincludes all vehicles owned, leased, or furnished for regular use. Collector autos are notconsidered a private passenger auto and will receive a separate charge.The umbrella liability premium must also reflect the additional charges shown in this manual forany of the following exposures that exist.• Each Additional Residence Occupied by Insured• Each Additional Residence Rented or Held for Rental to Others – Charge applies on the basisof each family unit rented or held for rental to others.• Incidental office, professional, private school, or studio occupancy – Charge applies to each suchoccupancy by insured on residential premises of the insured.• Business Activities – Charge applies to each such activity.• Incidental Farming• Farm Personal Liability – Charge applies to each such occupancy or operation. Refer toCompany• Watercraft – Charge applies to each watercraft.• Licensed and Unlicensed Recreational Motor Vehicles – Charge applies to each snowmobile,all-terrain vehicle, trail bike, mini bike, or other similar vehicle.• Each Youthful Operator• Additional Liability Exposures (i.e. Swimming pools, etc.)• Uninsured/Underinsured Motorists Coverage – Charge applies to each covered vehicle.Employee DiscountA discount of 15% will be applied to the total policy premium for each policy written in the nameof a person who is:• Employed by Western National for a period of at least 90 days and works 20 hours or morea week;• Formally retired from Western National in accordance with company retirement eligibilitystandards;• A Western National board member (immediately at the time of their confirmation); or• A retired Western National board member with at least 6 years of service.4-1-2010 Rules - 5 General RulesIncludes copyrighted material with permission of American Association of Insurance Services
