Please review the Motorcycle/Moped/ATV Manual pages.Helpful Hints:ApplicationsCompleted in their entirety, dated, and signed by the applicant and the agent.Note: There are two motorcycle applications:• Hennepin and Ramsey counties.• Remainder of State.Motorcycle endorsement on drivers license is a requirement.No Sport Or Bullet BikesReview the listing of INELIGIBLE UNITS in the Motorcycle/Moped/ATV manual.CustomizationThe appropriate premium charge must be made for there to be coverage. Custom paint jobs areconsidered as an accessory and must be reported to the company.Four WheelersMay be insured under the Motorcycle/Moped/ATV program.Supporting CoverageMotorcycle - Applicant must be insured through Western National's Preferred automobile program.ATV's - Homeowner coverage must be written by Western National.Mutual Underwriting Information – October 2012 Page 20
Western National Insurance GroupPersonal UmbrellaThe Personal Umbrella Liability Program is written only in the name of an individual and isspecifically designed for executives, business persons, various professionals, and other individualswith the need for substantial liability protection.Western National must provide coverage on the underlying Automobile Liability and HomeownerPersonal Liability.Minimum Underlying Limits of Liability *TYPE OF POLICYREQUIRED UNDERLYING LIMITSAutomobile Liability – 250/500 Bodily Injuryto include motorized vehicles 100,000 Property Damagelicensed for road useHomeowners – 300,000 Personal Liabilityto include motorized vehiclesnot licensed for road use* Note: All household members must carry the same underlying limits.Coverages under this program provide for a $1,000,000 limit of liability for each occurrence, subjectto a $1,000 retention limit. Limits in excess of $1,000,000 may be submitted, UNBOUND, and aresubject to underwriting approval.Uninsured/Underinsured Motorists CoverageCoverage can be extended for bodily injury covered by Uninsured/Underinsured Motorists Coverageunder an underlying policy. Minimum underlying Uninsured/Underinsured Motorists limits are$250,000 Bodily Injury Per Person Limit, $500,000 Bodily Injury Per Occurrence Limit. Coverageamount is limited to $1,000,000, regardless of the limit on the personal umbrella policy.A signed acceptance or rejection of this optional coverage is required.Please review the Umbrella Manual section for additional information.Mutual Underwriting Information – October 2012 Page 21
