Powered Air-Purifying Respirator
(PAPR) With Helmet

Description: Protection for the head, eyes, face
and respiratory system which works by means
of slight overpressure inside the helmet, created
by a continuous flow of filtered air
• Lightweight, NIOSH approved, powered
air-purifying helmet respirators (PAPR) make
spraying pesticides comfortable and safe by
reducing respiratory stress and heat stress
How they work: Outside air is forced through filters
and into helmet
Benefits: Kasco PAPRs are literally the
“coolest” in the industry
• They offer superior breathing comfort and are a
great alternative to full or half-mask respirators
• The ease-of-wear, safety and versatility, make
the Kasco PAPR ideal for greenhouse, orchard
or vineyard spraying

Hummert’s Helpful Hints:
1. Refer to pesticide label PPE list as to
which filtration (TC-23C or TC-21C) is
needed with the pesticides you use
2. Do not use Kasco Helmet Respirators in
areas where oxygen is less than 19.5%
or when using fumigants (unless stated
on label)
3. Purchase a spare battery to use when
one is being charged
