Pestrap colored, sticky cards, effectively trap western flower thrips (WFT), whiteflies, fungus gnats, shoreflies, and winged aphids in
your greenhouse. Pestrap sticky cards aid greenhouse growers in detecting early pest infestations more effectively than plant
sampling. Using Pestrap to keep track of insect populations, will help you make more informed and timely control decisions.

Hummert Helpful Hints For
• All Pestrap sticky cards are coated on both sides
• The cards and the sticky adhesive are non-toxic
• For mass trapping use 14 Pestraps per 90’ long bench
• Use at least one card per 500 sq ft, plus additional cards near
doors and vents
• Monitor cards weekly
• When temperatures rise, check cards twice a week
• Use “gridded” cards, count only center of cards
FUNGUS GNATS
Place Pestrap sticky cards horizontally just above the soil
surface. Tolerance level is 5-10 fungus gnats per card per week.
Use beneficial nematodes or Gnatrol at lower levels.
WHITEFLIES
Whitefly (WF) populations are aggregated. WF adults look
orange-ish when trapped.
THRIPS
Western flower thrips (WFT) prefer blue Pestrap sticky cards.
Place Pestrap sticky cards just above canopy (1-2”) or at
bench level. In February, place Pestrap sticky cards near
floor to detect early emerging thrips that have overwintered.
Tolerance level is less than 10 thrips per card per week.
