Natural Ventilation Systems
If you are considering natural ventilation for your cold frame, high
tunnel, ground to ground or gutter-connected greenhouse, Hummert
International can design a roll up wall system to meet your needs.
The advantages of natural ventilation for your greenhouse-growing
environment are numerous and can be achieved with the Roll-Up/Lock
Down Curtain Systems by Advancing Alternatives Inc. This system can
fit any “straight” or “curved” wall – free standing or gutter connected

Curtain systems are designed for single poly or double layer air
inflated poly. Double layer poly curtain can be air inflated with optional
Automatic Inflation Kit. Curtain system can be manual or motorized;
operator packages and guide pipe ordered separately. Poly curtain,
baseboard at eave and grade not included.

patented Roll-Bar and Roll-Lock locks down when closed and fully seals
across the entire bottom. Optional auto inflation is designed to inflate
two layers of poly and seals the ends of the curtain for added insulation,
saving you energy and money!
Gutter Connect – Sidewall Curtain Systems
(up to 8’ opening)
The “gutter connect” – sidewall curtain system is designed for straight
side walls of free standing and gutter connected greenhouses with 8’
sidewalls with single and double layer poly. Double layer poly sidewalls
and end panels can be automatically air inflated to reduce heat loss.

Manual & Electric Operators & Accessories
GCP5:1x1.3 – Gear Crank is a 5:1 ratio and operates “free standing” up to
5’ opening, up to 144’ long curtains. Handle is used as a brake. Order guide
pipe and curtain separately.
GCP7:1Cx1.3 – Gear Crank is a 7:1 ratio with internal brake that opens up
to a 7’ opening up to 96’ curtains.
GCP13:1x1.3 – Gear Crank is a 13:1 ratio with brake. Ideal for long curtains up GCP13
to 240’.
TM2/33Px1.3 – Tube Motor package includes counter weight, roller guide,
guide pipe mounting hardware. Order guide pipe and curtain separately.
