Osmocote® can help you grow bigger, greener, healthier plants.
Osmocote® controlled-release fertilizer is engineered to help deliver bigger,
greener, highly-saleable and profitable plants, sooner. One application, either
incorporated or top-dressed, will provide your plants with a steady, metering
of N-P-K nutrients. This prolonged, controlled feeding, eliminates the feast or
famine associated with conventional soluble fertilizers, and helps ensure an
ideal level of nutrients for optimal plant growth.
Longevity is based on 70°F average soil temperature
Osmocote releases nutrients evenly, over the specified longevity, which is based
on 70°F (21°C) average soil temperature. Shorter terms can be expected in
warmer growing conditions, longer terms in cooler growing conditions.
How Osmocote® works:
A. After application, water
vapor from the soil penetrates
the resin coating and dissolves
the water soluble nutrients
inside.
B. The dissolved nutrients
then gradually diffuse through
the capsule into the soil
depending on formulation and
soil temperature.

3-4 months
The 1:1:1 ratio of N-P-K is
ideal for low-soil or soilless
mixes. It is an excellent
formula for bedding plants,
foliage and potted plant crops.
Osmocote® 13-13-13
8-9 months
The 1:1:1 N-P-K formula is
ideal for longer term foliage
and potted plant crops.
This product is similar to
Osmocote® 14-14-14, and
lasts longer.

The 3-1-2 ratio of N-P-K .3
designed for longer term
greenhouse and container
stock, this formula is ideal
for year-round feeding. It is
also used for propagation
and fall feeding.
Osmocote® 19-6-12
3-4 months
Formulated for mixes containing some soil and for
those plants that require higher levels of nitrogen
used for landscapes and interiorscapes.
