Electronic Ballasts<br />

Electronic ballasts provide the highest level of efficiency. HSE fixtures were<br />

developed in anticipation of the need for higher light levels within greenhouses<br />

while improving energy consumption.<br />

How to order PL Lights<br />

1. Choose a ballast fixture which includes the bulb and<br />

reflector, wattage and voltage<br />

2. Each fixture requires ordering a 6’ power cord and<br />

plug set in either 120v or 240v; see page 571<br />

3. Add any necessary hanging hardware from page 571<br />

HSE NXT2 HPS 600<br />

& 1000 Watt Fixtures<br />

• Self leveling<br />

• LED indicator light for required maintenance<br />

• Utilizes a cast aluminum ballast body with built in heat fins to<br />

reduce the electronic driver’s operating temperature by 6%<br />

• Ballast compartment is hinged for easy maintenance and servicing<br />

• Lamp holder assembly has a single part casting with slide lock<br />

sockets to make lamping and re-lamping much quicker and easier<br />

• Available with either the Alpha, Beta or Asymmetric reflectors<br />

• Fixture, double ended bulb, and reflector included in price. Cord<br />

must be purchased separately<br />

• 21” L x 10.25” W x 17” H (240V) or 12” H (other voltages)<br />

• 240V = 13.4 lbs; Other Voltages = 7.7 lbs<br />

• 600W features self-sensing voltage between 277-347<br />
